PsP Movies - Review of Downloading PsP Movies

By admin | September 16, 2008

PsP handhelds are one of the newest and most fun ways to play games, watch movies and listen to music. PsP movies are just some things that you can do on your psp besides just games. PsP movies are fun and easy to download.

There are many places on the net were one can find psp movies to download. Some sites have you pay per song or movie basis and sometimes charge up to a couple dollars for each download. Other sites require a membership and a monthly fee were user share files. This method sometimes can be frustrating when you are in the middle of a download and the user signs off before the download is complete.

I prefer to use sites that have a onetime membership for psp music, psp movies, psp games and psp software downloads. The best sites have their databases jammed pack with over a million songs, movies, games, and software available for downloading. Some of these sites have no limit to the amount of downloads you do per day.

There are some sites were the database does not have quality psp movies and psp music downloads and they might be very slow to download. I have placed a link at the top of this site for a one that has quality psp movies, psp music, psp games and software downloads. You may want to check it out.

Once you have downloaded some psp movies, psp music and games you can take them anywhere you go. This is great when you have places to go or have long travel times to get somewhere. It really helps to pass the time away, while your having fun either listening to psp music or watching a psp movie or just playing a new game. There are so many games available you should never run out of games to play music to listen to and movies to watch.

Make sure that what ever site you choose either comes with a money back guarantee in case your not satisfied with their database of music songs, movies, games and software. I have been using the above site for over three months and never had the need to ask for my money back. I now have so many psp movies, psp music and games downloaded that I often find it hard to decide which game to play, song to listen to, or movie to watch. If you’re wise and make the right choice you will be having fun all day long with your psp.

Please visit some of my sites PsP Music Downloads and PsP Movie downloads

Walk The Line Movie Review

By admin | September 15, 2008

A real legend is…well, the stuff of legends. But much harder to reproduce on film, because of the depths of human expression that tend to get lost in the business of making it on time, on budget, and on a subject the public will “buy”. Which means 2005’s “Walk The Line” is that rarest of movies, one that dug deep into the story, put it up as it really unfolded, and managed to bag actors that could carry it off.

“Walk The Line” is the hard fighting/drinking/loving story of country icon, Johnny Cash and his love affair with wife June Carter. It lays the foundation for the movie’s focus, and Cash’s real life, by detailing his boyhood in Arkansas, the early death of a brother, and impulsive first marriage that ended in disaster. All of that contributes to the way Cash’s life was already drifting when he sang for Sam Phillips of Sun Records, where he brushed shoulders with another newcomer, Elvis Presley. Chastised for offering a hymn, Joaquin Phoenix rips off a version of Folsom Prison Blues that snags him the prized contract, and sets his foot on a path that will lead him to depths he never dreamed of, and the woman who would pull him out of then, June Carter.

Both Phoenix, and Reese Witherspoon who plays June Carter, did their own vocals, which added immeasurably to the reality of their performances. Witherspoon at times was perhaps a tad too ebullient, but also managed to reach inside herself to pull out both the feminine side of Carter, and her fury at Cash’s moral and physical deterioration as their relationship progressed from an initial backstage meeting to the final, enduring chapter written at the Folsom Prison concert.

Not strictly a love story, “Walk the Line” is nonetheless a sometimes moving, infuriating, and emotionally charged tale of two people both struggling towards the same goal- to be with each other.

Director: James Mangold

Producers: Alan C. Blomquist, James Keach, Cathy Konrad

Starring: Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Ginnifer Goodwin, Robert Patrick, Ginnifer Goodwina

Bollywood Movie Review - Dhoom 2

By admin | September 15, 2008

Dhoom 2, which came out in November 24, 2006, was such a big hit that it had a very successful opening in India and overseas. In the US alone, it had earned US$2,642,290 by early 2007. Dhoom 2 is a hugely commercialised film which does not have a proper story line, if it has any. Rather, the movie has spent much time and effort on all aspects of commercialisms in terms of the cast, entertainment, glamour, songs etc.

To some, having a good story or plot might be the most important thing to look out for in a film. Perhaps not too much of it should be expected, since the purpose of a movie is meant to entertain in various ways (acting, glamour, music, cinematography, video editing etc) apart from a good storyline. If people were to keep expecting just good stories from movies, they might as well read a good novel instead.

Then again, the director should not have neglected the story so much to the extent that critics come up with endless lists to highlight all the flaws which are so apparent throughout the movie.

Story:

As mentioned before, the story is not really paid attention to. A mysterious their, who calls himself Mr. A (Hrithik Roshan), goes literally around the world stealing priceless items in highly sophisticated ways. The purpose of his behaviour is not explained. A hot pursuit by an ACP, Assistant Commissioner of Police (played by Abhishek Bachan), then follows and along the way, Mr. A finds himself a voluntary partner Sunehri (Aishwarya Rai) whom he later finds out that she is sent to spy on him. She finds out later that she has fallen for him in a typical Bollywood fashion and joins hands with him after that.

The star appeal of each actor has been highlighted through their respective introductory scenes which may seem unnecessary to most viewers. In fact, most of the scenes are unnecessary but that is because story is not the focus of this movie at all.

Screenplay:

Fun and entertainment are primarily the main attention in this movie. This movie is taken in a rather commercially appealing way right from the start till the very end. Probably this is where its success is attributed to.

Eye candy supplied by Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu are part of the fun factor which is simply meant to divert the audience’s attention from wondering what the story is about.

Uday Chopra is the main entertainment factor as he does his comic antics to keep a smile on the audience’s faces.

Cinematography:

Cinematography is awesome. Every robbery scene is well taken care by the camera angles and shots.

Video Editing:

Video editing is quite well done, even though more of it could be implemented since the movie is done purely for entertainment.

Online Movie Communities – a Simple Solution for Movie Lovers

By admin | September 15, 2008

It is not seldom that we hear only bad comments or at superlative about certain movies and by actually watching them we get a totally different idea. How many times have you happened to buy a film on DVD just because critics said it was good or a friend recommended it to you? Probably many times and not always were you given what you expected. One can’t help but wonder “Why are there such divergent contradictions between the ways everyone reacts to a certain movie?” The answer is quite simple and it can be found inside human nature: we are different so we see things differently. Therefore, how are we supposed to find a suitable movie for our Saturday evening if we cannot take other people’s opinions as valid?

Generally put, we as humans, have our own individual personality, behavior, beliefs, likes and dislikes. This means that two people can look at a certain thing and see it in a totally different way. So is the case with movies and all types of art actually. No film can be generally viewed as excellent or bad as the tastes of all the people who watch it cannot coincide, but can, however, be contradictory. Furthermore, a certain flick can be seen as an extraordinary work by a category of viewers and can be totally thrashed by others. Consequently, the key is to find movie reviews coming from people with similar background and tastes as you, and online film discussing communities give you just that.

Before buying DVD movies it wouldn’t hurt throwing a glance over what other people have to say about that particular film and try to draw a conclusion based on the opinions of people who resemble your tastes and preferences. Consulting such a site could save you the effort and time of watching a movie that you won’t truly enjoy. In addition, many of today’s movies are either overrated or don’t get the appreciation that they deserve, and this can only be confusing for the film lovers. Sharing opinions with each other, however, can really bring out the valuable productions and set them apart from the bad ones. As a surprising paradox, critic reviews rarely meet the judgment of the masses of movie fans, so it is advisable to know what other people think of a particular film and not necessarily how well the critics receive it.

To put it briefly, when in doubt about a certain cinematic production is worth seeing or not, just go online and see what people just like you think of it. It is the easiest and most effective way to pursue your own preferences and not follow sightlessly what professional reviewers have to say. Also, you can engage in discussions regarding your favorite films, debate with other people on movie related issues, gossip you’re your online friends, share ideas and opinions, help other movie fans with advice, recommendations, and keep in touch with the latest appearances in the world of cinema.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Movie Review

By admin | September 15, 2008

Steve Martin stars in one of his funniest roles in the late 1980’s hit comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Working with seasoned veteran Michael Caine, the two surprisingly combine to create a hilarious onscreen comedy duo. The two actors play con men, both canvassing the same small territory, and there isn’t room for both of them.

In beautiful Beaumont sur Mer on the French Mediterranean coast, Freddy Benson (Steve Martin) and Lawrence Jamieson (Michael Caine) meet. Both are con men who prey on wealthy women - Freddy using his hard luck stories, and Lawrence utilizing his Old World sophistication and charm. But Lawrence is in a far different league, preying on the wealthy elite of Europe with his years of criminal training. Aspiring to reach such heights himself, Freddy convinces Lawrence to take him on as an understudy. Lawrence relishes the challenge, and together, the two are able to take the town by storm.

But when the boundaries of the small seaside resort become too small for both men, they make a bet as to who is the best at his craft - with the loser agreeing to leave town. Their target is a newly arrived American soap opera star named Janet Colgate. The bet is whoever can get $50,000 from her or go to bed with her first. With the two masters of their craft working against each other, the young American girl is pulled in every direction at once. At least until the two men find out who the true winner of their bet is.

Clever and humorous, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a classic in the comedy genre. It has several memorable scenes, a number of which are saved until the very end (which has a surprising conclusion). Among them is when Lawrence, playing the role of an imminent psychologist, dances with Janet in a bar while Freddy pathetically looks on from his wheelchair. With Lawrence hurling a series of insults such as “get up out of that chair and dance with this girl,” Freddy tells a group of sailors a sob story about how Janet used to be his girl until she was stolen away by a man who could walk. The sailors kidnap Lawrence with every intention of teaching him a lesson, but Lawrence quickly turns the tables on Freddy.

I highly recommend Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as a great night of entertainment to people of all persuasions. Far from the realm of a slapstick comedy like The ***** Gun, or the borderline ridiculous humor of Airplane, it exhibits a presence of sophistication reminiscent of its subject matter - two con men working the elite and wealthy social circles of Europe. Like Frasier, it displays all the nuance preferred by educated viewers without being snobbish. But most of all, it’s downright plain funny! That’s why it’s a must-see comedy film.

X Files: I Want To Believe Movie Review

By admin | September 15, 2008

So what is it that I want to believe? This summer’s release of the second installment to the X-Files movie has been highly anticipated? I’m sure it has been for all of the diehard X-Files fans, but honestly, I then see very much buzz about the movie coming out. Especially up against the release of the smash hits the Dark Knight, and Iron Man I was wondering who really remembered what the X-Files was about.

Now I do have to admit that I am not an X-Files and and I did not watch the show on TV, but I did see the first movie.

Now, talking about hype, this movie was very tightlipped, very hush-hush and industry really pushed to try to get people really buzzing to try to find out what was going on with the next installment? the thing is, if you’re going to be this hush-hush about a movie and really try to create a buzz around it but you better deliver… And this X-Files episode, though stocked with lots of special effects and here he sets, pretty much comes up empty handed.

The second X-Files movie following The X-Files: Fight the Future a decade ago, though not a sequel, is really just a hodgepodge of different storylines. It’s as if the moviemakers were trying to please everyone and in trying to do so disappoint all.

Under the direction of the television series creator Chris Carter, is Gillian Anderson who called back to duty as sixth sense sleuth Dana Scully, and she doesn’t disappoint. David Duchovny as her somewhat dazed and confused reluctant partner Fox Mulder barely registers as a dramatic force here, though it’s clearly not his fault. Both actors do a great job, but acting alone can save a movie that’s poorly put together and one shouldn’t have to hold the movie a by the two stars alone.

The story begins rather promisingly with a nocturnal sequence, set in a snowy West Virginia town, and the capturing of a young, innocent woman by a creepy man driving a tractor. Meanwhile, hundreds of FBI agents are following Father Joseph Crissman (Billy Connolly), a strange psychic, sporting long white hair and thick glasses, who tries to illustrate his visions and redeems his shady past by taking the agents to the scene of the crime. However, this is where it ends.

This movie is tangled and disjointed with cheeseball special-effects designed just to get a quick scare out of you. If you like sitting through two hours of confusion, disjointedness, and question marks, and this movie is just for you.

Many fans are wondering what happens with Mulder and Scully, but that is something you need to see for yourself in the movie. We can’t let the spoiler out here.

The sad thing is that is seems like Fox didn’t want to believe in the movie either, as the budget was cut in the making of the film, and it feels like the movie was quickly slapped together. The movie is a stand alone, as it doesn’t rely on any of the episodes from tv like the original movie did.

But, if you are going to see this one, you really have to want to believe it’s going to be good.

Bollywood Movie Review - Black

By admin | September 15, 2008

The movie, Black, was the main winner at 2005 Indian Filmfare Awards winning eleven awards in total, breaking a record as a result. It then went on to win 10 awards in the 2006 IIFA Awards ceremony. Time Magazine (Europe) selected the film as one of the 10 Best Movies of the Year 2005 from across the globe. The movie was positioned at number five. It was also listed on the “25 Must See Bollywood Movies” by Filmfare Magazine.

Story:

Black is the story of blind and deaf girl (acted by Rani Mukherjee) who has been in darkness since she was born. No one, not even her parents, are able to help her in any way until an old alcoholic teacher, Debraj Sahai (acted by Amitabh Bachan), enters her life and takes on a mammoth of a task of bringing the young girl into light and ensuring her graduation from a normal college. The film is similar to the story of Helen Keller.

Screenplay:

Superb acting is produced by well-renowned veteran Amitabh Bachan and multiple award winning actress Rani Mukherjee. Probably this is the finest ever performance of Rani Mukherjee. Her turning point in acting came from the movie, Hey Ram whereby she claimed that Kamal Hassan changed the actress within her and indeed it was a very successful change. One is able to feel the pain and sufferings experienced by the girl and admire the determination and patience given by her teacher.

Cinematography:

Cinematography is very well done by providing the appropriate lighting to create the suitable mood and atmosphere such as the scene of the young girl.

Video Editing:

Not much video editing can be expected from this movie since the focus is on the story and the deep portrayal of the characters. However, few scenes like the one where Rani Mukherjee enjoys the snow are well edited.

The Wall-e Movie Review! is it Good? Find Out Here!

By admin | September 15, 2008

Imagine Earth without humans. That’s what the world in Wall-E is like since it’s been abandoned by humans. It’s just a big garbage dump now. The atmosphere is hazy with smog. The garbage is as high as the buildings. The only survivor: Wall-E: A robotic garbage compactor crushing all the garbage into little cubes while saving some of the human’s interesting things such as binoculars, Rubik’s Cube and light bulb stored away in his “home”. Wall-E has a friend though, the last living thing on Earth, a cockroach. Neither of them can talk.

Wall-E is an abbreviation for “Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth class”. He falls in love with an alien robot sent from another planet to Earth for the purpose of find signs of vegetation and plant growth. Her name is Eve. Wall-E gives her a living plant which she stores away to take back to the humans that were floating in space for several hundred years aboard a big spaceship called Axiom. Wall-E follows her with admiration.

I’ll leave the good parts for you to discover what has happend to humanity after several hundred years of floating around space accompanied by robots and flooded with corporate advertisements in stunning detail. There are a few references to past movies which makes Wall-E even funnier and more enjoyable.

Pixar has truly created a gem that us (humans) will enjoy even when we leave Earth. We will then reminisce and remember Wall-E along with everything else Earth has to offer.

Now go see it! You can Download Wall-E Right Here, Right now.

Movie Review of the Rocker (2008)

By admin | September 14, 2008

The Rocker (2008)

To be frank, Peter Cattaneo’s The Rocker has about as much to do with rock and roll as a baby hippopotamus has to do with the Battle of Verdun.

Rainn Wilson, the talented comedian and actor made celebrity by the role of Dwight Schrute on NBC’s The Office, plays Robert Fishman, Fish to his friends. Back when leopard-print stockings on men seemed like a stroke of genius, Fish is the drummer for burgeoning hair metal outfit Vesuvius. When the band is offered a contract with Matchbook Records, they find that the only catch to the deal is that the label wants the son of one of its bigwigs to take Fish’s place. Fish is out.

Years and a dozen or so records later, Vesuvius has become “The Beatles of their generation” while Fish has taken to sleeping in his sister’s attic. It’s his nephew Matt (Josh Gad) who gives Fish the chance to play with his band, A.D.D., when they lose their drummer before a cherry gig at the prom. It’s not until after a minor split and regrouping that the rest of the band, guitarist/singer Curtis (singer/songwriter Teddy Geiger) and bassist Amelia (Emma Stone), accepts Fish as their drummer. A.D.D. becomes a hit, thanks to Fish’s new rep on YouTube as “The ***** Drummer,” a name given for his ritual of practicing in the buff.

The screenplay was written by husband-wife team Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky, and one gets the feeling that they were simply brought in to fill in the blanks of the story dreamt up by Ryan Jaffe. Wolodorsky was a supervising producer and writer on The Simpsons in the show’s early-’90s heyday while Forbes once wrote and served as a co-executive producer on The Larry Sanders Show. These are people who understand humor. But the jokes that are formed and deployed in The Rocker have no snare. Witless and limp, they seem to survive only as parasites living off the energy of the actors.

One exception comes to mind and that is Jason Sudeikis, whom you might know from Saturday Night Live and his role as Floyd on NBC’s 30 Rock. Sudeikis plays David Marshall, a scout for Matchbook Records, who helps A.D.D. secure a recording gig and an opening spot for Vesuvius at their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction. Sudeikis knows how to form and deliver a one-liner with bite. Even with co-stars Will Arnett, Bradley Cooper, Fred Armisen, Jane Lynch (as Fish’s sister), and Jeff Garlin, Sudeikis offers the only laughs to be had. When he compliments Curtis’ mom (Christina Applegate) by saying, “Man, I’d like to spend nine months in there,” it’s a moment of pure menace in a castrated poodle of a comedy.

Will Fish overcome his hatred for Vesuvius? Will Curtis stand by him even as the drummer reportedly puts the moves on his mom? If you’ve made your way to the local movie theater in the last three decades, the answers present themselves. The film is directed by Peter Cattaneo, the English-born filmmaker who crafted the sleeper hit The Full Monty a decade ago. Mr. Cattaneo goes by the book: no charm, no ingenuity, and about as much comic verve as an internment camp. Emma Stone, a bracing presence in last summer’s Superbad, seems to be already playing spendthrift with her cred. As for Mr. Geiger, my liver convulses at the thought of him continuing to perform his mindless brand of cheese-pop, but his gross inability as an actor looms as a greater threat.

Certainly nothing this year will compete with the inexcusable The Love Guru for its sheer inability to create laughs, but The Rocker does its best to at least come close.

1.5 out of 5 Stars

Producer: Tom McNulty, Shawn Levy

Screenwriter: Maya Forbes, Wallace Wolodarsky

Stars: Rainn Wilson, Teddy Geiger, Emma Stone, Christina Applegate, Josh Gad, Jeff Garlin, Jane Lynch, Jason Sudeikis
